This Google Analytics thing is the shizznit. It’s got more graphs than a Congressional subcommittee hearing and more buttons than a waiter at TGI Friday’s. I even know what some of them do.
I think pretty soon Google will know more about me than I do.
“We are Google, Google is One”.
Before Google, only crazy people thought they were being constantly tracked. Now, people will pay for that service.
I block google analytics with adblock.
Yeah, I wrote a snippet on that earlier:
“governments can only dream of having the voluntairely-provided information on citizens that Google has, (…) Seriously, I’m running a blog on Google servers, they know my real names, address, phone number, bank account, my mail runs through them, …
How much do they know about you, and would you ever divulge that information to a uniformed public servant?”
I wouldn’t, probably. But google can’t throw me in prison. The government can.
