DirtCrashr on California politics commenting at SayUncle:
Here in CA we are all minorities in a One Party State made-over by Identity Politics and gerrymandered into perpetual servitude to a political class that chooses its voters, rather than the other way around. The square peg went into the round hole and the Governator came out a Democrat on the other side.
Sad, isn’t it?
A friend calls it, “Slob Enabling” – they set the bar really low, and it’s a race to the bottom for all the acorns. Unfortunately at the bottom it’s really just acorns after all.
The system is unstable and can’t sustain itself with, as the Left likes to say, “all its inherent contradictions.”
So, a few more years before the really big economic collapse, whether literal-physical from The Quake, or semi-infrastructurally from the collapse of the levees and the subsequent massive loss of agriculture that cascading takes down other parts of the economy…
The cool part it it’s so functionally messed up there are loopholes you can drive a truck through while the scramble for acorns is on. So, for my next project should I get a Magpul CRT or a Vltor E-Mod…? :-)
Sebastian, do you think PA is shifting in that direction? Not to the extreme of CA, but in the direction..
There’s little danger of one party rule in Pennsylvania for the time being.
