They believe that they will win hearts and minds even faster if they say the same thing over and over again, only with a megaphone in people’s faces. This lady had a foreign accent so thick you couldn’t even understand what the hell she was saying. She kept insisting she was an American, despite her accent. No one in the crowd ever said she wasn’t one!
Sebastian,
“No on in the crowd ever said she wasn’t one!”
(You left out the “e” ending of the first “one” in the above sentence. Somewhere else on another blog entry of yours, I think you left the “e” out of the word “fortunately”.)
I think that you might be making more typographical errors lately than you used to. Sorry to nitpick here, but the leftists and “dirty hippies” sometimes cite spelling and grammatical errors as “evidence” that we conservatives and “gun nuts” are not as sophisticated, learned, and articulate as they purport themselves to be, so let’s not give them the chance here in your blog, please.
(If you use the Firefox 3.0 web browser, it underlines every word spelled incorrectly, which you might find helpful. I know that I do.)
I have been. Normally I try to be more careful, but I’ve had less time lately to proofread. The spell check doesn’t pick up on things which are typo’d but correctly spell other words.
