Janet Napolitano gets tapped for Homeland Security. Now Kathy Sibelius for Labor Secretary. There are rumors of either Hillary Clinton or Bill Richardson at State. So we could be going forward with a lot of up-and-coming Democrats manning the decks on the U.S.S. Obama. This works out well for the Democrats if the ship turns out to be seaworthy, but it could be a godsend to the Republicans if it sinks in the harbor.

Well Napolitano and Richardson are good on guns.
Napolitano has been iffy. She’s vetoed some shit she shouldn’t have.
From what I’ve read, Napolitano is not good on guns, and Richardson is the one who is iffy, although he did sign the “shall issue” bill into law.
Richardson, generally, has been good on our issue. Better than McCain, actually. His only real sin was some involvement with the AWB back in 1994, because he was a house leader. But if I recall, he voted against it ultimately.
“Napolitano… are good on guns”…
Um, not so much. She vetoed Katrina laws on the flimsiest of excuses among others… She’s also an open borders type.
Az will be glad to be rid of her. Sorry the rest of the nation gets to suffer now.
…and Waxman ousts Dingell. Great.
Sebelius is pretty strongly anti-gun, but I can’t really think of how her anti-gun stance could matter too much as Labor Secretary.
Or am I being overly optimistic?
This could be a good thing for the GOP even if Obama is a great president. Even in popular adminstrations, cabinet positions are where political careers go to die.
The Dems screamed that McLame was going to be a third term for Bush…
What is Obama turning out to be?? A 3rd term for Big Bill maybe??
Just sayin’…
This will not end well.
Y’all are welcome to our Guv Janet! Maybe NYC’ll be in more danger, but we Zonies’ll feel safer.
*ahem* IF? The next 2-4 years are going to be quite horrendous if Obama implements even a tenth of what he promised.
