Analysts are apparently predicting the surge in guns sales is coming to an end. The Great Obama Gun Rush might be over. I can’t say I’m disappointed. Maybe I’ll be able to start buying again at other than wildly inflated prices.

Gun buying rush over? Yeah, probably. EBRs are in stock at every shop I’ve been to lately. Plastic guns are starting to re-appear in quantities.
Ammo rush over? Not so much – and the prices will never come back down again even when ammo is readily available.
heyyy, maybe now i’ll get the two uppers i ordered from Del-Ton back in January!
And, shortly, the used gun market will be in oversupply as speculators try to unload and impulse shoppers get buyers remorse. Which is good for me.
falnfenix,
I doubt it, it took them 5 months to get me a flash hider.
So a smaller but noticeable bump as those of us not caught up fulfill our pent up demand?
Hopefully the great ammo shortage will end also. I did find a brick of .22 lr yesterday. No luck on reasonably priced target .40.
A friend just spoke to DPMS, and they still have a 1 year backlog on standard configurations and 2 years on upgraded ones. They’re 142,000 rifles behind. It’ll be a while before the market is back to normal, even if demand IS tapering off.
I ordered an “assault” .308 two months ago – ANY assault .308! – and still nothing in site. Can’t come soon enough for me, no matter the price.
Might want to get them before the “climate change” bill gets passed in the senate and over to Obomba.
Unless you’ve read all 1200, no wait, I think it’s at 1500 pages now, you can’t say just what IS in there. Damn we have got to get a law passed that mandates them to read this stuff into the record live on TV for all to see.
Anyone doubt they’d have slid something about ammo folks in last night with the 300 pages of amendments?
