The Pocono Record endorses the idea of denying Americans fundamental rights based on their presence on a secret government list that no one knows how to get on, or how to get off. Â Doesn’t sound so reasonably when you put it that way, does it? Â Especially when you consider if you happen to be a person unlucky enough to share a name with someone on the list, you’ll never be able to exercise your rights again. Â Shame on the Pocono Record for promoting such tripe.

The Pocono Record seems to have become more and more “New York Times-ish” over the last few years when it comes to its editorial content. This is why I no longer buy it – I just read it online.
Forgive my ignorance, but isn’t it really more like:

I’m sure there’s a better way of expressing that it doesn’t have to be your name- it could be the name of someone else that just happens to have the same name as you.
