Thanx for the link. I live in the SD area so the story is particularly relevant to me. I’ll post here what I tried posting over there, since It didn’t seem to register. By last count nearly 1,300 comments were posted!
Good grief. What an astonishing tale of bureaucratic incompetence and authoritarian bullying. Keystone Kops meets Catch-22!
Un-freakin’ believable. As a pilot, I find it incredible that anyone thinks the TSA is protecting us from anything. How about everyone STOP FLYING so that these knuckleheads get laid off? Or if you have to fly, start wearing Depends. What? Adult diapers aren’t allowed? Really? Where is that on the TSA website? This government is out of control. This has got to stop.
I have a ticket to fly SouthWest out of SAN for Thanksgiving. I wrote an email to SW customer service to ask where these policies are written that I can be sued/fined for not being groped… seriously considering driving to Sacramento.
I have to fly in a couple of weeks, I’m looking forward to it. I haven’t had a good grope in years! Hey, if I’m voluntarily submitting to sexual assault, I may as well make the most of it.
You should check out Tam’s site, Diomed… she has some suggestions for you :)
If anyone has bucks to bankroll a civil suit, seems like “conspiracy to commit sexual assault” and witness intimidation would be appropriate claims.
You won’t get anywhere, they have qualified immunity.
