Chris, who recently visited, talks about firearm ownership in Guam, which is a US territory. I guess they are worried if there are too many guns on the island, it will tip over.

I think Guamanianites, or whatever a Guamese is called, would demand guns lest any Japanese soldiers left behind on the island still think the war is on.
Also, given Guam’s proximity to Iraq, the large numbers of troops on the island after we follow president Kerry’s withdrawal plan will want to have guns, as well.
As a Nevada attorney I’d never given the “Guam Gun Issue” much thought, but while plying my trade at a recent local gun show was asked by no less than five individuals about the legality of pistol grip stocks and the ever dreaded bayonet lug in the local jurisdiction. I gather these things are still contraband in some US Territories, much like other less gun friendly locations here. To their credit, all of the individuals have taken up residence in more firearms friendly jurisdictions.
