Guns for me but not for thee! No surprise at all. Mayor Daley of Chicago loved his handgun ban, but he walked around with 24/7 armed guards. Rosie O’donnell loves gun bans, except when her bodyguard gets one. And the UK government loves gun bans, except when people like the princess-to-be’s parents get 24/7 guards with machine guns to protect them. I wish I had some cake to eat.
How does the separation of powers figure into this? Deputies are part of the executive branch, so doesn’t being legislators AND deputies violate that separation?
