I imagine in any society where gun ownership is not verboten that statement is true, if only because of the size of the military and police relative to the rest of the population.

Well, at least we can agree on something. After all, look at all the idiot gangbangers in this country who think that just owning a pistol makes them an unstoppable force of nature and gives them a free license to rape, rob, and pillage – at least until they run into someone who has possession and the appropriate mindset…
As always, education is the key.
That’s probably why they’re more free in the Phillipines than they are in New York, New Jersey, or pretty much any socialist state.
