If the antis lose the political cops, it’s time to stick a fork in them
The latest meme I’m seeing (mostly on Reason’s and Balko’s sites) is that the NRA loves cops too much, and should be out there protesting against the increasing militarization of policing, including the excessive deployment of SWAT teams and use of no-knock warrants.
Here’s an example of that over at The Agitator. I’ve been tempted to post in the comment threads and point out that the NRA is a gun rights organization, not a general civil rights group, but I’m afraid I’d fall into the XKCD trap.
