I don’t see why this wouldn’t work out for New Hampshire. Vermont is certainly no bastion of crime. New Hampshire would be the fourth state to repeal the permit requirement, bringing the number of states that do not require one to five.

Just checking, I thought Wyoming just passed this so the current total is 4 states.
Montana passed the Senate today. Goes to the Governor for signature.
And then there were 5.
Also New Hampshire has one of least demanding carry permit. It takes 7 days or less to issue, its a hand written piece of paper, costs $10 for residents, and is essentially just a NICS check.
“Why Bother” comes to mind, especially with the mounting data of how little carry permits accomplish.
