I remember reading an anecdote, where Jeff Cooper was asked, “Don’t you believe that violence begets violence?” His response was, “Yes, I do: it’s fully my intention to see that violence begets violence–to bring violence down onto anyone who attempts to harm the innocent.”
It seems that this newspaper is determined to make sure that violence doesn’t beget violence–that violent people will have free reign to attack others, and then sue their victims if they attempt to fight back!
“But where are the headlines plucked from real-life cases that show the need? Where are the judges and juries who have sided with an intruder over a homeowner protecting himself?”
