The people who are “Occupying Wall Street” are trying to come up with a manifesto. Being the kind, democratic collectivists they are, they are letting anyone participate. I put a few highly radical things in there just to see if they get removed. But I couldn’t resist the temptation to add this:
10. It is impractical for millions of American men, women, and children to be without health care for any reason. Â [This text should not be edited.] | Implement universal, comprehensive single-payer health care systems at the state level. Align federal incentives, Medicare and Medicaid policy, and the VA to support the states in doing this.
Repeal the Affordable Care Act and replace it with something better. Free baths for smelly hippies. |
My addition in bold. It’s juvenile, but so is the entire document, and unlike me, they are serious. At least you know what these people would impose on others if they ever got any real power. The fact that there are people out there who believe things like this:
Teach character building classes from grade one, measure success based on drive/interactions with others, not only final outcome.  Impose universal morality for parents who do not participate in raising their children. Remove children from households with parents who refuse to educate them properly. Provide for re-education of parents in how to properly raise their children for the happiness of the Party.
are the reason I own guns. I may or may not have added that last bit about re-education of parents for the happiness of the Party, but I would note it hasn’t been removed, and the rest of that sick statement was the product of someone else’s sick mind.
If I could get the document to run on my computer, well . . .
it’s probably a good thing I can’t. The opportunities for general mischief-making is justs too great.
It would be fun, though.
What’s amazing is that there are people who take this kind of mish-mashed gobledegook seriously.
Provide for re-education of parents in how to properly raise their children for the happiness of the Party.
I suspect that maybe that entry was put in by someone playing your game.
I hope so, at any rate.
I added that part :) I would note that no one has removed it.
The universal morality for parents is not a joke though.
Hmm…
Make solar and wind power not at all dependent on crude oil to build infrastructure, and as efficient as nuclear.
Eliminate all gun registration lists so they can not be published in newspapers for criminals to choose their victims (either for gun burglaries, or home invasions of the defenseless)
Repeal all healthcare laws which force doctors to charge some patients more than others to be able to pay off their student loans and for insurance.
Abolish the IRS and all taxation in order to stop the armed robbery from taxpayers to benefit others.
Stop spreading pro-criminal disinformation about the human right to self-defense and the most effective way to fight crime.
Eliminate all taxes so the government cannot effectively flush our tax dollars down the toilet.
These hippies are going to start to fall apart soon. They will start to divide into different groups with different ideals and goals – one group will certainly take the violence route. There will be leadership struggles and fights among groups. Pretty soon they will realize that 20% of the people are doing 80% of the work. This will piss of the 20% and put the 80% on the defensive, thus further dividing the groups.
Try and find an example of one effective and lasting commune. They all fall apart when reality sets in. Right now it’s just a big party in relatively mild weather.
If I was Ray Kelly, I’d bring in the firetrucks to gently wet them down at around 5am – spraying into the air, when the temps are in the low 40’s. I’d keep constant speed metal playing to keep them awake. I’d let the garbage pile up to stink them out. Tired, wet, cold, and smelly hippies will eventually give up and go home.
Looks like your edits have been removed. However the elimination of gun registration lists is still in there.
@Sebastion-
Let me personally thank you for that link. I’ve never had so much fun adding random crap to madmen’s ramblings!
There are tons of Facebook and Twitter IDs for Occupy (whatever city) groups all over the country. The Phoenix group posts their meeting minutes too.
It is clear that they have a much different definition of ‘organizing’ than the rest of us. Many don’t seem to know what cause they are supporting, they’re just Useful Idiots waiting to be led somewhere.
Look up a group near you and have some fun. facebook.com/OccupyPhiladelphia
So, this is the other side of the Tea Party coin.
Hey, common ground! Someone appended “Do the same with all Medical Marijuana lists.” to
Eliminate all gun registration lists so they can not be published in newspapers for criminals to choose their victims (either for gun burglaries, or home invasions of the defenseless)
Haha, and “Make solar and wind power not at all dependent on crude oil to build infrastructure, and as efficient as nuclear.” is still up there! Nobody has realized this is a practically impossible fantasy!
HAHAHA! “Require transportation of all existing fossil fuels to be overseen by leather bound desert barbarians.” MAD MAX!
Stop spreading pro-criminal disinformation about the human right to self-defense and the most effective way to fight crime.
is still up!
Eliminate all firearm registration, regulation, and licensing. Any weapon used by law enforcement should be available without restrictions to any citizen not otherwise disqualified.
was added after the previous paragraph!
Prosecute every elected, appointed, or career bureaucratic official in the Obama administration who conspired to traffic guns to drug cartels, resulting in countless murders on both sides of the border, a scandal worse than Watergate, where nobody died.

And the last one for tonight, I swear:
Publicize independent study programs (or create, expand them) in public school districts. Currently they are treated as a dirty little secret, for whatever reason. These allow motivated and disciplined students to do classwork and PE at home (or in public), take electives at any school and community service at any organization, and report to a teacher generally 1x a week year-round. Then they can graduate high school at an earlier age, enter higher education and/or the workforce. (speaking from personal experience)
Search for my name. I felt the need to be included.
Looks like they are taking their ball and going home. Too bad.
Section 10 has been deleted in it’s entirety.
So much for it belonging to the American People!
The ignorance and fail starts out of the gate at painful levels in the “Call To Action” where the Declaration of Independence is confused with the Constitution, which is then incorrectly credited with granting rights.
