Civilian Engaged With College Station Shooter

SayUncle noticed a blurb from a local TV station that seems to indicate that before backup arrived, the shooter went over to the constable, and upon trying to remove the now dead officer’s gun, took 5 or 6 round of handgun fire from a civilian. This seems to have caused him to retreat, and no doubt prevented him from arming himself with another gun.

  1. I think the story has been updated since you linked it, it now says that he did get the officer’s gun and it was found in his home.

  2. The shooter did get the Constable’s gun. It was found in his room after the altercation, but did not appear to have been fired.

  3. Im guessing either a revolver shooter, or someone with a low cap mag in a pocket pistol.
