Republicans are trying to make hay of it, but the fact is having the full weight of the White House behind and effort makes a huge difference, especially when the legislature is controlled by Democrats. I’ve never before in my life seen the issue this partisan. There were always pro-gun Democrats you could count on. I’m pleased the Republicans seem to be sticking with us so far, but how long will that last if we’re handed defeat after defeat? I know it sucks, but we’re going to have to be minutemen, ready to spring into action at a moments notice, for the next four years. I know it’s tiring, and I know it sucks, but if we don’t, we’re going to lose. It may be too late to stop what’s coming in Colorado, and that’s going to make a lot of people angry. But don’t get mad, get even. Throw the bums who vote for this stuff out on their tails.

As a pro-gun Democrat (well I was a Democrat until this issue came up! Don’t know what I am now), I must say that it’s very disappointing that the WH lobbies in CO for gun control, but sent 1 tweet in support of unions.
Seeing how much the Dems are like the Repubs, I’ve become a one issue voter (the only one they seem to differ on) and I encourage other Democrats to follow suit.

Interesting, Vicki. So does it appear to you that the president and VP are really concentrating on the pressing matter of gun control at the expense of other things? To me it looks like Biden is practically the appointed gun control czar and is not doing much else. How big is the pro-gun Democrat community in Colorado and do you think they are making their voices heard?
