For most of use hitting targets isn’t about fun. Oh, there is fun involved. For most people hitting “targets” (or what we shoot at) is about self-defense, or hunting.
This was talked about in the Choosers of the Slain trilogy by James Cobb. In the 2nd book I think. When he talked about guided artillery shells. “Why aim the gun when you can tell the bullet where to go.”
You might as well say that rifling gives an unfair advantage and real marksmen shoot lead balls out of smooth bores. Technology marches on.
Wait until they can do this with automatic weapons fire. Each bullet targeted to a specific, individual target if seen….
