Mention of Martin Luther King? The man is absurdly antiquated. America is so far beyond his call for judgment by character and not skin color that we are 180 degrees away from that. The ONLY thing that counts these days is skin color. Thieving thug tries to kill a cop? The only thing that mattered was skin color. Would-be burglar tries to kill the neighborhood watchman? The only thing that mattered was skin color.
People on the right are ludicrously naïve if they think that invoking MLK means anything to the left. They’re in power now, and they mean to do as they please, all arguments to the contrary notwithstanding.
