Some Interesting advice on how to make Second Amendment issues into economic issues in the 2012 Elections, by focusing on the fact that the shooting and outdoors industries are job creating machines. I can’t help but wonder though, if the firearms marketplace will cool-off if the Republicans take back control of the U.S. Senate and the Presidency.
After all, there is no better gun-salesman than an anti-gunner!
We here at Brownells don’t see a slowdown no matter who wins. Self defense is driving the market right now and the need for that won’t change if a Republican is elected. Sport shooting (3-Gun, USPSA, IDPA) are going strong and those folks buy lots of guns. Just go to the Brian Enos forums and look at all the people asking for advice on a new AR or shotgun. Or hit AR15.com If Obama wins there will probably be another 2008 burst of magazine and semi-auto buying.
